That’s why every tire purchase includes a small eco fee that supports tire recycling and safe disposal across Alberta.
Why eco fees matter

Each new tire sold in Alberta contributes to a recycling program managed by the Alberta Recycling Management Authority (ARMA).
These fees are mandatory and remitted directly to ARMA. They are not profit for VEX TIRES.

These fees fund proper tire disposal so old tires don’t end up in landfills, burn improperly, or pollute our soil and waterways.

As a driver in Okotoks, Calgary, High River, Diamond Valley, or the Foothills, you help protect Alberta’s roads and environment by including this modest fee.
How the fee works

When you buy tires from us, an eco fee is automatically added.

$5 each (effective October 1, 2024)

$14 each (effective April 1, 2022)

These fees are mandatory and fully transparent, shown on every invoice. Each one becomes your contribution to a cleaner Alberta and a community committed to responsible recycling.
